Prepare

Cleanse, shave and towel dry the area you wish to treat. Apply your Phytograph Hydrating Calm Soothing Gel.

Select

Unlock device by placing the base against your skin. The skin tone sensor will unlock if your skin tone is safe to treat. Select your setting from 1 to 5.

Begin

Hold the treatment window against your skin, wait for the flash and beep, then move to the next area with a small amount of overlap and repeat.

Soothe

Reapply your Phytograph Hydrating Calm Soothing Gel for a boost of soothing moisture. It is important to keep skin hydrated following laser treatments.

Full step by step guide to using your Tria 4X.

Step 1: Cleanse and shave your skin.

Cleanse, shave and towel dry the area you wish to treat.

Step 2: Apply your gel.

Before treating, apply your Phytograph Hydrating Calm Soothing Gel to the area you want to treat.

Step 3: Unlock your Tria 4X.

Place the skin sensor in the base of the device against the treatment area. If your skin tone is safe to treat, the device will unlock.

Step 4: Select your treatment.

Select your treatment level from 1 to 5. Higher settings off better results, lower settings offer more comfort.

Step 5: Begin your treatment.

Place the treatment window against your skin until you hear a beep and see a flash. Then move to the next spot with a small overlap and repeat.

Step 6: Reapply your gel.

Select your treatment level from 1 to 5. Higher settings off better results, lower settings offer more comfort.

Repeat the process.

For optimal results, treat each area every 2 weeks, treating 6-8 times, for up to 100% hair reduction.*

Your hair grows in cycles, so you need to treat every 2 weeks to ensure you hit all your hair in the right growth phase and achieve optimal results. Consider setting reminders or marking your diary to ensure you don’t miss treatments.

Always shave before treatments — 24 hours before is ideal.
Start on a lower setting and work your way up — lower settings offer more comfort, whilst higher settings offer better results.
Use your Phytograph Hydrating Calm Soothing Gel before treatments to reduce the sensation of the laser, allowing you to reach higher settings without discomfort.
Treat consistently, every 2 weeks —don’t skip or miss treatments.
Avoid over-treating areas by keeping track of where you have treated - this will reduce skin sensitivity —some users use a white eyeliner pencil to mark their skin (never use dark / black).
